Our Mission

To enrich, educate, and entertain the community through film and art.

We develop robust independent and community-curated film series, deliver impactful educational programs for all ages, and for each of the past 21 years we've hosted “the best-curated film event in New England,” the Maine International Film Festival. According to MovieMaker, we provide “an oasis of programming perfection in Northern New England” at Railroad Square Cinema, “one of the country’s finest independent movie theaters.”

Our Programs

Forty years ago we opened the doors of Maine's independent cinema. We're still reeling.
